For its heating and air Charlotte requirements, global retain giant has selected Carrier Corp. for its programmed superstores across China which numbers 20. Aside from air conditioning units, Carrier was also awareded the contract to provide TESCO’s superstores with chiller retrofits.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, TESCO is one of the world’s top retailers and has rapidly expanded in China with approximately 70 hypermarkets. TESCO said they want a company which can provide a complete solutions for its air conditioning unit requirements, as well as chillers, airside products and control systems, as well as the technology for a centralized monitoring system for our superstores across the region.
The retail giant said they require a company which can provide a complete solution package for its heating and air Charlotte needs.
Carrier secured the air conditioning equipment purchasing contract with TESCO through May 2010. Under the agreement, Carrier will supply high efficiency products, including 19XR Evergreen® centrifugal chillers, 30XW Aquaforce screw chillers, and 35E series VAV boxes with digital controllers. The ASHRAE 90 is exceeded by the AquaForce and Evergreen chillers.1 features and is a good complement for the green building inititiave under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
To provide an integrated building solution, Carrier will also equip each TESCO store with a complete WebCTRL building automation system from Automated Logic. The WebCTRL is a new technology platform that allows many browser-equipped devides communiation flexibility, such as desktops and cell phones. The WebCTRL technology offers many advantage for TESCO, according to Carrier, inlcuding energy consumption, implementation of efficient energy programs and reduce the firm’s operational costs.
